At 17, he traveled India as a freelance photographer and blog writer, later working in education and community-building projects in Auroville. He trained in Ancient Thai Massage and Tibetan bowls at Healing Hands Center with Rahul Bharti. Currently, he is developing Spanda Lab in Paris and Berlin with Marc Laurin, blending electro-acoustic soundscapes with world instruments.

Marc Laurin
Marc’s journey into sound began with percussion, piano, and music production. His exploration deepened in Auroville, India, where he immersed himself in yogic practices and began leading group sound baths. Combining electronic tones with organic sounds, Marc crafts meditative soundscapes. He refined his expertise in psychoacoustics during a Master’s in Audio Communication and Technology at TU Berlin. Marc’s projects include soundscape recordings of urban and Amazonian environments and an ambient music project, Imaginary Time. With Mitia Klein, he co-founded Spanda Lab, offering meditative electro-acoustic spatial sound experiences that connect ancient traditions with modern technology.

VOICES

“The training was truly empowering. I loved how you encouraged me to play the gongs intuitively right from the start, helping me connect with them through direct experience rather than just conceptual theory. Each time I played, I felt your trust in me with these magical instruments, which really boosted my confidence as a gong player.”
— “Empowering Training That Builds Confidence”
“Yasemin’s training was a beautiful introduction to the world of sound and gong. We learned not only how to play the gong, but also how to thoughtfully design a sound experience. Under her guidance, I gained a new perspective on the therapeutic potential of sound, leaving me feeling more connected to myself and excited to share this with others.”
— “A Wonderful Introduction to Sound and Gong”
“I really appreciated the diverse mix of theory, covering topics like cosmic octave, nada yoga, and anatomy, along with fascinating content such as Emoto’s water/rice experiment. Your practical advice—where to buy gongs, what to look for—was incredibly helpful, and I found the shadow work exercise to be a powerful addition.”
